Do you experience pain during or after exercise?

Movement is good for a body. Sports can unfortunately also go hand in hand with injuries. If you suffer from overloaded muscles, ankle, shinbone, Achilles tendon, or knee problems while exercising, it is wise to visit the podiatrist.

A foot is part of a movement chain.

When a foot tilts inwards a lot, the whole leg turns inwards. If the foot does not move properly, an incorrect load is created in the knee, hip and back. This can cause complaints to arise both during sports and during daily activities.

At PodoPro we look for the cause of the abnormal functioning of this entire movement chain. For example, there may be a limitation or blockage in a foot which may be the cause of the complaints higher up. This can be treated with manual therapy, among other things. With manual therapy we can immediately do something about the cause of the complaints to provide relief as quickly as possible.

With athletes it is true that even more factors can play a role in the development of the complaints. Think of the shoes or, for example, the surface on which you play sports. The podiatrist will look for the cause during an extensive examination. Your feet will be analyzed up to your lower back and external factors will also be discussed. That is why it is important to bring your sports shoes to the first appointment.
