Nail bracket

Nail braces can treat a bent or ingrown nail.

If you suffer from a bent nail or an ingrown nail, it is possible to treat this with a nail brace. A nail brace is a thin wire of surgical steel that is shaped by the podiatrist so that tension is created on the nail.

By attaching this bracket, by means of a nail-friendly glue, it will remain in place for several weeks, so that it will grow and influence the shape of the nail. After a period of 6 weeks, the podiatrist will check whether the braces need to be replaced or whether the desired result has been achieved.
